No stiff posing, no awkward photoshoots… just honest storytelling with a relaxed, fun approach (and yes, probably a few dad jokes along the way).
Based in Townsville, North Queensland but will travel all over the world for cake and to make sure your memories are captured beautifully.

Yeah look, I ain't your ordinary wedding photographer. Truth is I'm a chef by trade, far from a people orientated profession. I filled the last 20 years stuck in a heated box with every other waking minute in front of a tv watching the latest SCI FI or playing the recent Assassins Creed, Halo or Star Wars (to name a few).
Meeting my wife has changed all of that, has made me gravitate out of the kitchen and into world of creatives that I never imagined I would ever find myself, but loving every single minute of it! Spending the last 5 years growing connections honing my photography knowledge (and still at it today) and interpersonal "skills" to be able to come to you and say hi!
Wedding Photography was never on the cards, but some things just fall into place...

I highly recommend Jamie, he is a very talented photographer and amazing to work with. He captured our engagement photos and our wedding day so beautifully. He was so helpful before the wedding with organising timelines etc with great advice.

We want you to enjoy your day with your friends and family so when we arrive on your day, we arrive as friends not hired help. Folks you can relax around as at the end of the day, if you're not relaxed, it will reflect in your photos and memories.

We are here to do a job, and we aim to do it the best way possible. Sure you can have shot lists and Pinterest boards, but we also have a way of working and we will blend your designs into our shooting style to create your memories inline with the style of photos you have booked us to shoot.

Jamie was more than happy to help however he could and always made himself available to answer any questions. On our wedding day, both Melissa and Jamie went above and beyond to capture both what they thought would be good photos, but also incorporating what we wanted. They also both stayed well after the reception had concluded to take as many different photos as possible!
We could not have asked for a better photographer for our special day!! The ongoing support both in the lead up, during our engagement photo shoot and on the day was amazing.
