On the wedding day itself, we blend in like mates with cameras — that's just how we work. Our approach is documentary at heart, which means we're hands-off for most of the day because the best wedding photos are the candid moments that happen when you're actually living them. The hug from your nan, your mates losing it on the dance floor, the quiet hand squeeze before the ceremony, the way your partner looks at you when no one else notices — that's the stuff that matters. We'll step in when needed for family photos and those mantle-worthy portraits, but the rest of the time we're focused on candid, unscripted coverage — documenting the real atmosphere, emotion, and story of your day exactly as it felt.
We are a husband-and-wife wedding photography and videography team based in Townsville, capturing weddings across North Queensland — from Port Douglas and the Daintree Rainforest, across the Tablelands, through Townsville and Magnetic Island, all the way down to the Whitsundays and Mackay. Whether your day is intimate or grand, relaxed or dressed to the nines, we'll be right there alongside you — blending in like mates and capturing every moment as it naturally unfolds.

Frequently asked
HOW MANY IMAGES WILL I RECEIVE?
Quality over quantity.
Every North Queensland wedding we photograph is different — a 3-hour elopement might yield 150 images, while a full-day Townsville wedding could yield 800 or more, depending on the proceedings, the light, and how the day unfolds.
Do you provide engagement shoots?
Absolutely!! And, we recommend it!!
You already know a great deal of benefits to an engagement shoot, otherwise you wouldn't have asked the question. But did you know that an engagement shoot will allow yourselves and your wedding photographer the chance to get to know each other and how we all work together. This will create familiarity with one another, creating the best photos possible on your wedding day!
WHAT ARE YOUR TRAVEL FEES?
We shoot weddings all across North Queensland — Townsville, Magnetic Island, Whitsundays, Port Douglas, Cairns, Tablelands, Bowen, and Mackay — and where possible we avoid charging travel fees. If we can reach you within a few hours, there's no travel fee. Further afield, a travel fee may apply and will be calculated based on location and transport.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I HAVE TO CANCEL?
Rescheduling will always be our first option. Where a reschedule is not possible, we can provide a partial refund up to the amount of your retainer. Our retainers are non-refundable but are transferable to a future session with us.
Exclusions- we reserve the right to deny a refund if cancelation occurs within 24 hour of your session unless we are able to fill your booked session.
WHAT IF THERE'S BAD WEATHER?
Unfortunately the weather is out of our control and as such we do not hold it against you should you wish to reschedule. We will keep in contact with you during the day of your session and communicate with you our thoughts. Should you wish to reschedule we will find a suitable date for all parties. As for weddings, we know they cannot be rescheduled, which is why our professional cameras are weather-sealed and can brave the bad weather right there next to you!
WHAT IF MY WEDDING DATE CHANGES?
Assuming that you had knowledge of the potential of a wedding date change, and the decision wasn't a drop of the hat, one would assume that you would be in communications with your vendors and as such be working with you for a suitable date for everyone. Should you choose a date that we are unavailable, we reserve the right to withhold your retainer until such a time your original wedding date is booked by another couple.
WILL YOU HELP ME FIND VENDORS?
Absolutely — consider us your unofficial North Queensland wedding planners. We can recommend trusted local vendors we've worked with across Townsville, the Whitsundays, Cairns, and beyond, help build your timeline, and work through the details of your day. All you need to do is ask.
HOW DO YOU ACCEPT PAYMENTS?
Our Booking System is ever-evolving, Currently we can offer credit card, bank transfer and PayID. We do also have a contract with Payright for 12 month interest free payment plans up to $3,000, allowing you to pay your retainer with us now and if approved you will be required to pay a 10% deposit to Payright but not another cent until 90 days from your wedding date.
WHAT IS A SECOND SHOOTER?
Glad you asked! So a second shooter is another photographer assigned to assisting and capturing your wedding! They provide you a secondary perspective while providing the main photographer with the ability to focus on the couple! Typically the second shooter will focus the groom in the "getting ready" and ceremony portion of the day while capturing your guests at the other times.
HOW FAR WILL YOU TRAVEL?

We're based in Townsville and regularly shoot weddings across North Queensland, from Port Douglas and Cairns in the north to the Whitsundays and Mackay in the south.
Interstate travel incurs a travel fee for airfares, accommodation and transport. For international destination weddings, let's have a yarn — we'd love to make it a whole experience.
